Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 August 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies BilloraPay uses, what each category is for, who sets them, and how you can change your choice at any time. It is maintained by the BilloraPay team and sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What a cookie is
2. Essential cookies (always on)
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They do not track you across other websites.
- Authentication — keeps you signed in to your BilloraPay workspace between page loads (set by our authentication provider, Supabase).
- Theme preference — remembers whether you chose the light or dark interface.
- Cookie choice — stores the decision you make in the cookie banner so we do not ask you again on every page.
3. Analytics cookies (only with consent)
4. Advertising cookies — Google AdSense (only with consent)
BilloraPay is free to use and is funded in part by advertising. When you accept, we load Google AdSense, and Google plus its partner vendors may set cookies to serve and measure ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and review Google's practices at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- For vendor-wide controls, see aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
If you reject non-essential cookies, the AdSense script is not loaded at all on your visit. We also never show ads on sign-in, dashboard, admin or password-reset screens.
5. Changing your choice
You can change your decision at any time — your previous answer is cleared and the banner appears again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all offer per-site controls). Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and may break parts of the app.
