Why we started BilloraPay
Most freelancers and small business owners we spoke to were still stitching together invoices in Word, Excel or free trials that expired the moment work picked up. The result was inconsistent paperwork, missing tax fields, and delayed payments because a client's accounts team could not approve a document that did not look like a proper invoice. BilloraPay was built to remove that friction — a single place where anyone can produce a legally-structured invoice, receipt, quote or pay slip in under two minutes, without signing up for a subscription just to try it.
What we offer today
The platform includes six core generators — invoice, receipt, cash memo, money receipt, quote, and pay slip — each with support for multiple currencies, tax rules, discounts, shipping, and partial payments. Every tool exports to a clean printable PDF and stores an optional local copy so you can reopen the same document later. Alongside the tools, our blog publishes practical guides on invoicing, cash flow, taxes and small-business finance so you can put every document to work.
How we handle your data
Tools that don't require sign-in never send your business or client data to our servers — the document is generated entirely in your browser. When you do create an account, everything you save is protected by Postgres row-level security, so only you can read or modify your own records. We do not sell data, we do not run behavioural ad targeting on our tools, and we do not share information with third parties beyond the essential service providers listed in our privacy policy.
